Best of 2019
Introduction and Episode Overview
(0:00) Hello, this is Dr. Daniels and you are listening to Healing with Dr. Daniels.
(0:07) This is the Sunday, December 29th edition of Healing with Dr. Daniels, and this is our year-end episode where we are reviewing the best of 2019.
(0:16) How do we know it's the best? Because you said so. These are the episodes of Healing with Dr. Daniels that are the most watched and most shared.
Colorectal Cancer Screening Insights
(0:29) The first episode we're going to talk about is colorectal cancer. In this episode, I talked about the screening process for colorectal cancer.
(0:40) It turns out that most people who are screened, their chances of having cancer, one, are very small, and two, even if the cancer is detected, the chances of it killing them are less than one-third once the cancer is detected.
(1:03) The upshot of the whole deal is it makes no sense to submit to annual or biannual sodomy in order to be aware of cancer because awareness does not mean cure, and awareness does not mean improved quality of life.
(1:19) I did all the calculations for myself, and it turned out that if I submitted to sodomy and cancer was found, it would only have a seven percent chance over my lifetime of killing me. But wait, what about the other 93% of whatever might end my life?
(1:36) I personally don't get colonoscopies and don't worry about colorectal cancer. I just keep my bowels regular, do my enemas, take vitality capsules, and I'm good. Nothing stays in there long enough to cause a problem.
Vitality Capsules Promotion
(2:12) This brings up the Vitality Capsule sale. I have been working with our IT guys, and they have come through. Yay! So, that means we can have our sale.
(2:23) I know many of you were expecting a two-for-the-price-of-one sale, but in recognition of the holidays, yay! And also, because this batch that we have is not as potent as our previous batches, I am having a three-for-the-price-of-one sale. The sale began at midnight on Saturday, so when you're listening to this, it will be in progress.
(2:54) Check your email. You will have an email with the subject line "Three for the Price of One." Open it, click on the link, and you'll see the sales page. Awesome!
Medical Industry and the Lack of Oversight
(3:45) Our next show is, "Is Anybody Watching?" When you have something that causes 225,000 Americans every year to die prematurely, shouldn't somebody be watching?
(4:05) There are 14,000 homicides every year, and they've got a homicide count going on daily in some cities. So, you would think for something that kills 225,000 Americans every year prematurely, there'd be some kind of daily body count going on.
(4:28) The medical industrial complex itself admits that it kills 225,000 people a year. This is so bad that I Googled "lives saved," and I expected a list of ways the medical industrial complex saves lives. Instead, it showed a list of committees trying to save lives by preventing the medical industrial complex from implementing the standard of care.
(5:16) In this show, I examined the watchdog groups, their findings, and why they are ineffective in assuring the quality of your medical care. The answer to "Is anyone watching?" is yes, a lot of organizations are watching, but they are fairly ineffective.
Cancer Screening Recommendations
(7:29) Next, we have cancer screening. The latest recommendations on colorectal cancer screening: don't do it. This is a shocker. Can you imagine a recommendation not to do cancer screening?
(8:02) The reason for this is when they do cancer screenings with that long tube up your butt, they find polyps, but the evidence is that the polyps they find are not the ones that would have killed you.
(8:33) The evidence is that cancer grows quickly, and these slow-growing polyps that they detect during screenings are not the ones that were going to kill you. So, the recommendations on colorectal cancer screening are basically to stop. Yup, stop.
(9:10) This has become a ritual rite of passage. No one even mentions the benefits of a colonoscopy or how much better they’re going to feel. They just accept that this is something you do, like going to kindergarten at age five.
What Did Your Doctor Know and When?
(10:04) Next, "What did your doctor know and when did he know it?" This is a famous impeachment refrain from the 70s or 80s. The question is, what did your doctor know and when did he know it?
(10:30) In this show, I reviewed the timeline of knowledge that hormone replacement therapy causes breast cancer and its impact on breast cancer rates.
(10:43) Your doctor has known that hormone replacement therapy, estrogen, progesterone, or any combination of the two, increases your rate of breast cancer. No doubt about it. Proven fact.
(11:18) When patients were informed of this in late 2000, they stopped their hormone replacement therapy in massive numbers, and the breast cancer rate took a dip. That is how tight the connection is between hormone replacement and breast cancer.
Antibiotic Resistance: The Ongoing Nightmare
(14:14) Next, "The Antibiotic Resistance Nightmare." Don't let it keep you awake. Don't even worry about it. Why? Because antibiotics never worked. They never worked.
(14:33) Every year there’s a new reason why they don't work. First, it was that the doctor did not do the proper cultures. Then it was that the patient didn’t take it for the full seven to ten days. Then, there were antibiotic-resistant strains.
(15:27) There was this drumbeat of reasons for why antibiotics were getting less and less effective. When I was in medical practice, I noticed that people who got antibiotics did not get better any quicker than those who did not.
(16:15) In this show, I even looked up syphilis and strep throat, where penicillin is supposed to work. Penicillin fails as often as not. The penicillin success story was a staged public relations event. It never did work, and it still doesn’t work.
The Rename Game in Medicine
(20:45) The next most popular show is "When All Else Fails, Rename It." This is the reason why it’s so hard to keep up with medicine—they keep renaming diseases, giving the impression that the old disease was cured and that there's a new disease on the block.
(21:09) This tactic gives the impression of scientific progress when there is no progress at all. They have to call in the heavy-duty marketing geniuses when people refuse certain medical services. One example is end-of-life care or hospice. They just renamed it palliative care.
(22:48) Now it can be administered alongside deadly, dangerous chemotherapy and other therapies. This greatly increases consumption because of the repositioning of hospice care into palliative care.
(23:36) This tactic also prevents well-intentioned people from finding medical information going back 10, 20, or 50 years. Even when I was in medical practice, I had to really keep up and read the medical literature because they renamed things so frequently.
The Healthy Seven: Myths Debunked
(27:56) Next, "The Healthy Seven. Or Are They?" The medical industrial complex will attempt to tell you what is healthy, giving you things to do or metrics to hit to stay healthy.
(28:25) They list things like smoking, diet, physical activity, body weight, blood pressure, cholesterol, and blood glucose levels. But people who stick to the healthy seven are not necessarily the ones living longer.
(29:36) For example, the older people get, the less they adhere to these things. So if these seven guidelines are so important, then why are people who didn’t adhere to them living to be so old?
No Harm in Red Meat After All
(32:25) No harm in red meat after all. I can’t tell you all the people I know who have given up red meat. I myself was vegan for 26 years.
(33:09) The latest information from the medical industrial complex is that there’s zero evidence that eating red meat makes you sicker. If you eat it, it’s not going to make you sicker. If you stop eating it, it’s not going to make you healthier.
(34:06) The real point here is that your doctor is totally unqualified to give you dietary advice of any kind. If you want to know what you should or shouldn’t be eating, find someone who is living the kind of life you want to live, doing the things you want to do, and ask them, "Hey, what are you eating?" And eat what that person eats.
Advanced Cancer Patients Doing Better Without Chemotherapy
(36:31) The number one show, the one you guys like the most, is "Advanced Cancer Patients Doing Better Without Chemotherapy." You cannot make this stuff up, right? The medical industrial complex itself did this research, and this is their conclusion.
(37:12) The doctors did not systematically collect data. Then, a clinical trial found that this treatment was much worse. The cancers remained just as deadly when treated with high doses, and the regimen itself killed women.
(38:22) Just in case you need help, the medical industrial complex did the research for you, showing that chemo and radiation actually do kill, in this case, women with breast cancer. But maybe it’s not always a good idea.
Gluten Sensitivity: It’s Not the Gluten, It’s You
(44:14) The winner, the winner is "It’s Not the Gluten, It’s You." This is a very touchy topic because many people self-identify with being gluten-sensitive or gluten-intolerant.
(44:49) In my medical training, we were taught that people who go to the tropics and come back with gluten intolerance must have picked up an infection, right?
(46:14) In my personal journey, I became gluten-sensitive after years of being vegan. But when I started eating organ meats, the gluten sensitivity cleared up. That’s when I realized it was never the gluten—it was me.
(47:53) Gluten sensitivity is reversible. That was the big aha that I had from my journey and from working with people whose gluten sensitivity is declining, even going away.
Closing and Turpentine Protocol
(48:22) I'd like to remind people to check your email tonight. It should be in your email with the subject line "Three for One Sale."
(49:33) Let’s check on our Shilajit. Stir it up. There you go. As you can see, it has all dissolved. It’s better just to wait for it to dissolve rather than struggle with it in its gooey form.
(1:00:48) Turpentine and Shilajit, and get your Vitality Capsules to help you prepare for the turpentine. All right, that is it. Have a happy new year, and as always, think happens.
