Every Slave Fashions His Own Chains
Every Slave Fashions His Own Chains
Introduction and Update on Mom
(0:00 - 1:47)
Hi, this is Dr. Daniels, and you're listening to Healing with Dr. Daniels. This is the Sunday, September 26, 2021 edition. And today's title is "Every Slave Fashions His Own Chains." Yep, you heard that right. Whether it's a chain of addiction, illness, despair, or poverty, we each do things every day, all day long, to create and perpetuate the conditions we live in. Today, I'm going to share examples and solutions. And as always, think happens.
But first, an update on mom. Well, as we left her, mom is 89 years old. She was sent home to die, having lived way too long. Hospice is no longer on the case. However, mom is now awake, alert, and able to move around with her walker and at least get to the doorway of her bedroom, which was the dining room. She's attempting to manage her own affairs, but unfortunately, a lot has changed. Many business practices that are okay today were illegal 40 years ago, and she's having difficulties and wants her kids to solve her problems using 1970s technology. Yes, you can imagine. So we are working through that. It is good that she has five living children so we can take turns working with the situation. But her health is excellent, and she's very much engaged and really enjoying participating in her own life. So that's really nice.
Vitality Capsules and Personal Progress
(1:47 - 3:44)
Vitality Capsules. Yay! Our sponsor, Vitality Capsules. So Vitality Capsules are the safe, internal cleanser that you can use every day. You can find Vitality Capsules at vitalitycycles.com. That's vitalitycycles.com. You can also find at that website the report, the Candida Cleaner, which is a document that tells you all about turpentine and how to use it. So go to vitalitycycles.com, get your free report, the Candida Cleaner, and definitely a bottle or two or many of Vitality Capsules.
As for my progress, last time we talked, I was working on my center splits. I have achieved my left front splits and my right front splits, along with my back bends and bridge. Now, I'm working on unassisted handstands and center splits. I've started adding a Roman chair, which is a core exercise device, for increased quad strength. I also have a little bench now for increased inner thigh strength, getting me closer to those center splits. Hopefully, I can give you a report soon, and once I figure out this technology, maybe even some pictures. I'm really super excited, getting closer and closer and lower and lower in my center splits. So that's really thrilling.
Turpentine and Shilajit
(3:44 - 9:20)
Now, it's time for turpentine. I rediscovered turpentine because it was actually the main healing agent in the United States in the past. In 1990-something, I discovered it, and in 2010, I shared it with the world. Today, I'm going to take turpentine just to give you a demonstration. This spoon is a US teaspoon, 5 grams or 5 cc's liquid. This is granulated cane sugar, and about that much is the right amount. Remember to always label whatever you're doing so that people in your house will not mistake your vitamin C powder for sugar or salt.
Next, we have our pipette. You should dispose of pipettes, but I reuse them indefinitely until they break. You can get these on Amazon. This is 2.5 cc's right there at the neck. Squeeze out the air in the bulb, dip it in the bottle of turpentine, release the bulb, and up it comes. Once it's full, squirt it onto the sugar, making sure to get it all in. I sip water first so that when I put the turpentine and sugar in, the water can go in, lift it right above the spoon, and I can swallow it down with minimum taste.
Now, let's take our shilajit. Shilajit is an amazing, naturally occurring substance that has 80+ trace minerals. It solves the problem of modern living, which is that our mineral cycle is broken. The way it works is you're supposed to poop, and when you poop, minerals leave your body. That poop is supposed to be used to fertilize the plants you eat. The minerals are then incorporated into the plants, you eat the plants, and the minerals go back into your body, and the cycle continues. But because we have flush toilets and fertilization is done with NPK (nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium), those nutrients are lost. So the minerals necessary for you to stay alive leave your body, flush out of the house, into the rivers, oceans, whatever. But they're not used to fertilize the food that you eat, which is why taking shilajit is important. I recommend taking it five days a week.
Every Slave Fashions His Own Chains
(9:20 - 15:59)
Today's topic is "Every Slave Fashions His Own Chains." This is a very true statement in every aspect of life. The bad news is you're making your own chains. The good news is you can change it anytime. Once I realized this, and once I started reading more about slavery, I found that many people living as slaves were quite prosperous and more free than even white freed people were. Actually, this was an argument the South made, saying they didn't have a problem with slavery. Even in the South, there were black slave owners. The institution of slavery was more of an economic arrangement, and many slaves had more freedom than modern-day people with jobs.
Those of you interested might want to visit Williamsburg in the United States. It's a one-mile-long area preserved just as it was during the time of slavery. They have people playing the roles of slaves, slave owners, freed white men, and so on. You can meet these people, talk to them, and they stay in character, giving you the same answers they would have given in that time. You learn about how slaves lived, how freed men lived, and more. It's striking to realize that regular everyday citizens in 2021 have fewer freedoms than slaves did in 1840. I'm not saying we should or shouldn't have slavery, but we already do. Today, I'm going to suggest ways you can set yourself free.
If you don't like your health, economic situation, or emotional state, examine each act you commit from waking to sleeping. Write down everything you do and consider every action worthy of changing. Consider every condition of your existence—where you live, the clothes you wear, the food you eat, the transportation you use, how you get your food, who prepares it. Commit to changing everything until the problem you're unhappy with is solved. This is why taking a pill is so attractive—it allows you to change one little thing and leave everything else as it is. But this is a lie. The actual problem is one of your own making.
Examples of Change and Transformation
(15:59 - 21:59)
When I first started using natural healing in my medical practice, it shocked me that I couldn't just recommend one herb, supplement, or food change. I had to talk to the person about at least five changes they had to make to improve any one disease, whether it was diabetes, hypertension, arthritis, or whatever. As people made these changes, I noticed that on the way to healing by natural means, they frequently changed their occupation, often to one that was far more profitable and agreeable to them. They changed what they did with their day, eliminated aggravating and disease-causing activities, and even changed their thinking, experiencing improvements in multiple dimensions of their lives.
For example, one client was a successful, overweight, grumpy businessman with a devoted wife. His problem was chronic pain, especially in his back. As he became pain-free, he realized he was in the wrong line of work. He was flying all over the world, crammed in planes, eating what was placed in front of him. He found that organically grown green peppers sold for $35 a pound and could be used as tax-free money where he lived. He became a happy farmer, lost 80 pounds, and continued to prosper. His devoted wife is happier than ever, and he is no longer grumpy and pain-free. Happy camper.
Another client had an autoimmune disease with a long list of symptoms and associated labels. Her biggest concern was that she had no energy, was no fun, and could not enjoy time with her young son. As she implemented basic steps of natural healing—drinking adequate water, pooping three times a day—she found that her desk job did not allow even the basics of healing. She discovered that the food from her favorite family restaurant contributed to her misery. Little by little, she discovered she had built a life of misery. She changed enough things that she became pain-free, had full energy, and could do fun activities with her son instead of lying on the couch. She got rid of the family restaurant and totally reconfigured her job circumstances. Everything went really well.
Personal Transformation and Final Thoughts
(21:59 - 25:28)
As for myself, 14 years ago, I was destitute, fearful, exhausted, and filled with poverty and despair. I finally decided that I was clearly the problem. I decided to stop doing things that I hated—everything—and I would replace each thing with something better, something that would improve my life. Now, my morning routine, diet, and activities are completely different. The result is that all of my problems have resolved: despair, financial ruin, fearfulness, exhaustion—all a thing of the past. The sad truth is that nobody could have done it for me. I had to make up my own mind and change myself.
These are just a few examples, but be inspired. Take a look at your life, realize that you are creating the chains that enslave you, and give yourself permission to change. The great thing is that you can make changes and see results, sometimes in less than 24 hours. Sometimes it takes longer, like a couple of weeks, or even years, but you will at least feel better very quickly. Just picking things that you will no longer do will be a huge step forward and will signal your immune system that it can start fixing things.
Final Thoughts and Questions
(25:28 - 30:11)
Okay, that brings us to questions. Thank you for imparting some of your knowledge and wisdom with us virtually. You are a blessing. I've ordered my first-ever bottle of Vitality Capsules. Yay! Thank you! And I look forward to when they arrive. I have also printed the Candida Report and have read through it once. That might have been enough. I will read it again when the turpentine order arrives. I suggest reading it a second time before the turpentine arrives and a third time when it does.
A listener from Canada, 51 years old, shares that menopause began at age 45, and they have been experiencing severe leg and foot cramps at night. Night cramps are generally a salt problem. Take a teaspoon of salt in a cup of water, drink it down, and usually, that's it. Cramps gone. If you have a sedentary lifestyle, that might be contributing to the problem. Shilajit or turpentine won’t hurt, but the solution is salt.
Another question is from someone with a hernia that developed after lifting something heavy. The solution includes using a support strap, like a glorified jockstrap, and changing your diet to include more connective tissue, such as pig ears or pig feet.
Lastly, a listener with a white blood cell count of 60,000 feels wonderful and is not seeking medical attention. My advice: if you feel good, you are good. Don't let any blood test or x-ray tell you otherwise. And remember, turpentine can be taken anytime, but for maximum comfort, it's best to stick to the Candida diet. Heavy metal cleansing? Shilajit is your answer because it provides the trace minerals your body needs to release heavy metals.
That's all the time we have for questions today. As always, think happens, and we'll see you again next week!
